Python Engineer

Award Winning Fintech Company, World Class Team, Up to 120k

(Python, AWS Serverless, AI/ML, London, Hybrid working)

About the role:

We have a Python Engineer role available with an award winning fintech business with offices in London and New York. You will be using AI/Machine learning tools to help bridge the gap between Hedge Funds and Brokers through advanced data aggregation, analysis and optimisation. 

The role involves solving complicated problems in a fast-moving and highly complex domain, using modern Product Development practices with high levels of collaboration and innovation.  You will be delivering a leading-edge solution built on cloud native systems, with the highest levels of Platform and Data security.

Key Skills and ideal experience wanted:

• Python, Pandas, Polars, Pytest
• Building robust applications on AWS Serverless
• Postgres, ECS, Lambda and SQS
• Be an evangelist for Agile (XP) and Product techniques.
• Regular participation in pair programming
• TDD, CI/CD, DDD, Event Driven
• Excellent communication skills

Nice to haves:

Degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, Physics or similar

Salary and benefits:

70-120k + 28 days holiday, Hybrid working, private medical, learning budget.
